3-seater vs. 2-seater: When to upgrade
As the name suggests, a 3-seater sofa will comfortably fit three people, giving you a good amount of extra room over a 2-seater sofa. We'd recommend upgrading the size if you have a new addition to the family or are looking to pair it with another sofa to maximise seating options. Getting it through the door
Most of our models come with removable parts such as legs, feet, and even arms, which can make delivery a lot simpler. However, it's best to know any possible issues beforehand, so here are measurements to consider when purchasing a larger sofa:
- Door frames: How big are your doors and what is the space around them like? It can be tough to get the right angle if the door is close to another wall or stairs.
- Lifts and stairwells: If you live in a high-rise then you'll want to measure your lift against the size of the delivery boxes. While for stairs, consider how wide they are and any corners you'll need to manoeuvre.
- Outlets: Easy to forget about, ensure that your outlets and switches are still accessible with the sofa in position.
